Tape Extensions Information
Thanks for checking out my tape extension service!
My home salon is located in Parkdale, VIC. All my hair is ethically sourced 100% REMY human hair from India. I did my first set of extensions in 2013 and continued until COVID-19. I'm starting my biz back up in 2026!

Tape Extension Prices
Prices include installation, blending, trimming and a straight finish. Curling is available for an additional $20, or $30 for 150g+.
20 inches
➤ 100g / 40 pieces - $370 or $350 cash
➤ 150g / 60 pieces - $555 or $525 cash
➤ 200g / 80 pieces - $740 or $700 cash
24 inches (must be ordered 2 weeks in advance)
➤ 150g / 60 pieces 24" - $625 or $595 cash
➤ 200g / 80 pieces 24" - $835 or $790 cash
Fashion colours + $30 per 50g / 20 pieces (must be ordered 7 days in advance)
Maintenance per 20 pieces
➤ Removal - $50
➤ Shampoo & clean extensions - $25
➤ Re-tape & Install - $100
Consultations
➤ Consultations are done over the phone and are free of charge. This will be to help determine how many extensions you will need. Unless you have dyed hair (fashion / unnatural colours) I can colour match you on the day.
➤ If you have dyed hair and need your extensions colour matched, I will require full payment in advance and extra time to complete your request.
➤ I’m always happy to add some colour to your hair so please don’t hesitate to enquire about that!
Before Your Appointment
➤ Once your appointment is confirmed I will send you the address of my home salon. Please be advised that we have a cat. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment as there is limited space.
➤ Please ensure your hair is freshly washed using an oil and sulphate free shampoo and is fully dry. Washing your hair the night before or morning of your appointment is perfect, if possible!
➤ Your appointment must be paid for before the service starts. Pleas ensure you have the correct change if paying in cash. Credit Card and Buy now Pay Later services must be paid at least 24 hours before your appointment.
➤ Theres no need to get your hair cut or trimmed prior to your appointment as extensions blend better in uneven or "grown out" hair.
➤ Please do not wear a hoodie to your appointment.
After Installation Care Instructions
➤ Do not get your hair wet for at least 48 hours. This includes washing, swimming, working out, sports etc.
➤ Wash your hair with an oil and sulphate free shampoo.
➤ Only use conditioner and treatment on the ends of your extensions.
➤ Do not use protein treatments on your extensions, this will make them brittle and dry - moisturising treatments only.
➤ After washing, dry the base of your hair with a blow-drier so that the tape section is as dry as possible.
➤ Try to prolong wash day as long as possible. Dry shampoo is your best friend. Excessive washing can dry out your extensions.
➤ Always use a heat protectant before heat styling.
NOTE: Chlorine and sea water can effect the quality of your extensions and can ruin fashion colours. It's recommended that you avoid getting your hair wet (if possible) when swimming.
Tape Extension Removal
To save time and money, you can remove your extensions when they require maintenance.
How to remove tape extensions
➤ Place a few drops of orange oil at the tape section of the extension.
➤ Gently pull the tapes apart. If there is resistance, try some more oil.
➤ Gently remove the used tape from the extension. You may notice that some of your hair is stuck in the tape - don't stress! This is normal hair fall as you shed 50-150 strands of hair per day.
➤ Once the extensions are out, this is a perfect time to do a treatment on your extensions.
➤ Finally, wash your extensions with oil & sulphate free shampoo and dry.
NOTE: there may be sticky residue in your hair once the tapes are removed. Be super gentle when trying to remove this. You can use conditioner and orange oil to ease out stubborn pieces.
➤ If you do not want to remove the extensions yourself I am happy to do it for you however, I do not have hair washing facilities so the removal and re-installation will be over two appointments.
